Universities (deemed plus established) in Maharashtra are 44 in total. Among them, University of Pune and University of Mumbai are most famous in the state. Both of these universities have almost all programs and admit thousands of students through affiliated colleges. For the ease of collecting data, only course offered by the university is taken into account and internet is single source of information for data mining.

In some cases, universities haven’t published full information on web and it was hard to find other source. So, one of universities has not included here. Otherwise, maximum attention is paid on correctness of data collected.
